What is the business process?
Network of activities, repositories, roles, resources, and data flows that interact to accomplish business function
What are activities?
Collections of related tasks that receive inputs and produce outputs
What is a repository?
A collection of something, such as an inventory is a physical repository and a database is a data repository
What are roles?
Collection of activities
What are resources?
People or computer apps assigned to roles.
What is data flow?
Movement of Data between one activity to another or activity to repository.
What is the scope?
Who what when where why.

What are the basic shapes and symbols needed?
Circle for start to end

Arrow for connector
Square for activity or process
Cylinder for data store
