The PC must plan, manage, and monitor the building work. Esure building work complies with Building regs, be responsible for the site, manage flow of information.
What is Building Regulation principal designer (BRPD)
BRPD is required to plan, manage and monitor all design work during the design stage of a project to ensure that the design is compliant with the regulations
BRPD covers Building Regulations as a whole) Principal Designers are only required on higher-risk buildings (HRBs)

What is a Duty Holder
In construction, a duty holder is any person who is appointed to be responsible for a specific aspect of a building or project. Their responsibility is usually to maintain an overall standard and quality that is conducive to good health and safety and quality of work. The duty holder therefore has a duty to their employers, their colleagues and ultimately the building users and passers-by.
