when do we use tamoxifene?

A

as adjuvant endocrine therapy for non metastatic estrogen receptor positive breast cancer

  • 1st line therapy for premenopausal women and can be used in post menopausal women who have intolerable side effects (joint pain) from, or contraindications to, aromatase inhibitors.
