- Oval in shape
- Echogenic, central, fatty hilum
- Hypoechoic cortex
What happens to the lymph node when malignancy is involved? (2)
- Cortical hypertrophy
- Displacement or loss of the central hilum
Where are lymph nodes usually located?
Upper outer quadrant
