Presentations of brain tumours
-Headache (short duration, constant, increasing, never before) +/- Systemic upset (nausea, vomiting)
-Seizures (focal and generalised)
-Focal Neurological Deficit (USUALLY PROGRESSIVE)
=[Motor, Sensory, Cognitive]
-Not clearly localized Cognitive deficit
-Visible bony growth
-Nausea and vomiting
-Diplopia
-Ataxia
-Signs of raised ICP
-Hormonal imbalance
-Acromegaly
-TIME COURSE
-WHOLE PICTURE
Diagnosis of brain tumours
-CT (poorly enhancing low density region/ strongly enhancing hyperdense lesion)
-Biopsy (surgical)
-MRI (with and without contrast)
-LP with CSF analysis
