Cerebrum, diencephalon, midbrain, pons, medulla oblaganta, and the cerebellum
What is the cerebrum?
It is split into 2 hemispheres. It is the site of consciousness, sensation, intellectual function, memory, storage, retrieval, and complex movements
Where is the diencephalon?
It is connected to the cerebrum
What does the diencephalon contain?
The thalamus and hypothalamus
What is the thalamus?
Relays and processes for sensory information
What is the hypothalamus?
Floor of diencephalon to pituitary gland. It is in charge of emotion, autonomic function, and hormone production
What is the cerebellum?
Adjusts voluntary and involuntary control
