What is the difference between single malt and blended Scotch?
Single Malt:
- Distilled from a single batch of grain
- considered finer quality and a bit more expensive
- made for tasting
Blended Scotch:
- a blend of one or more Single Malt Whisky
OR
- a blend of whisky with at lease 51% of it being he comprised of a single malt
- less fine, most commonly produced, most commonly consumes, less expensive
