Condition
From baptism, one received the condition of being a member of the Christian Faithful, which incorporates one into the Catholic Church and allows one’s rights and obligations to be acted upon by way of different functions that flow from Christ’s priestly, prophetic, and kingly identity.
Function
Something that one is able to do by designation or in virtue of their condition.
De Facto Association
An association of the faithful that has not been established as private or public.
Private Association
An association of the faithful established by members of the faithful for a spiritual purpose whose statutes have been REVIEWED by competent authority.
Public Association
An association of the faithful that has been erected as such by a competent authority who has also APPROVED the statutes.
