*LOCATION: establish best access, consider uninvolved to involved, building construction, lightweight roof,
facades/mezzanines, company placement
*COMMUNICATIONS: best face to face, correct channel, pull hose line, operational retreat (10 sec air horn, 10 sec silence, repeat 3x for 50 sec)
*CONDITIONS: change of conditions, anything showing, color of smoke, smoke being sucked in or forced out, unusual intensity, risk vs gain
*ESCAPE ROUTES: hose line, avoid excess hose, sufficient access and egress opening, lighting
*SAFETY ZONES: typically the exterior, 2 floors below fire, large enough for all members
*SAFETY EQUIPMENT: understand capabilities and limitations of PPE, daily check, PASS, radio is critical
