What are the four steps of bone healing?

1. Inflammation (minutes) - influx of inflammatory mediators and vascular ingrowth
2. Soft callus formation (weeks) - fibroblasts weakly attach bones together - can still be angled
3. Hard callus formation (weeks months) - Formation of woven bone, no longer can be angled
4. Remodelling (months,years) - Formation of lamella bone and medullary canal formation
