Q

What is the link between respiration, breathing, digestion and circulation?

A
  • The digestive system breaks down food and gets it into the blood.
  • The breathing system adds oxygen to the blood
  • The circulatory system delivers this digested food and oxygen to the cells which need it for respiration. It also takes the carbon dioxide produced by respiration back to the lungs to be breathed out.
