A
The hollow space within the skull that contains the brain

A
A narrow, tube-shaped space that runs down the spine and protects the spinal cord.
It’s a subdivision of the dorsal body cavity, which also contains the cranial cavity.

A
A hollow space in the chest that contains the heart, lungs, and other organs.

Abdominopelvic Cavity
A
The part of the body that contains the abdominal and pelvic cavities, and is located below the diaphragm

Serous Membrane (parietal and visceral layers)
A
A thin layer of tissue that lines body cavities and covers organs. Serous membranes are also known as serosa.
