- he got the participants to give the names of a few other students to recommend to take part in the study
-The participants then read bout a study carried out in Italy on the effects of SENSORY DEPRIVATION. He said that it had been traumatic for participants but he wanted to replicate the study at VU university in Amsterdam to get a sample of younger people
-participants were then explained that they must write a statement to convince the students written down earlier t take art n the study, he said that by doing this the participant could obtain extra money. As well as this it was said that the university was considering the research for ethical approval.
