BMT 9 - Force Field Analysis Flashcards
1
Q
Force Field Analysis
A
A visual tool that shows the driving forces and restraining forces for a proposed change
2
Q
Process
A
- Change in a box in the middle
- Driving forces on the left with an arrow
- Restraining forces on the right with an arrow
- Assign weights to each force
- Add up the total
- Make a decision
3
Q
Pros of using FFA
A
- Enables users to see all information visually
- Gives a final number to help make a decision
4
Q
Cons of using FFA
A
- Weightings are approximations and may be incorrect
- There may be numerous forces on one side, possibly leading to bias (or not all forces can be added)
