Class A
Airspace Category Limits:

Class B
Airspace Category Limits:
Surface to 4,000’ Above Ground Level (AGL) with operational control tower
Class C
Airspace Category Limits:
Surface to 2,500’ Above Ground Level (AGL) with operational control tower
Class D
Unusual, often invisible, hazards to aircraft
Restricted Areas
Serves to warn non-participating aircraft of potential hazards
Warning Areas
Separates military training from IFR traffic
Military Operations Areas (MOAs)
Areas that contain a high volume of pilot training or unusual type of aerial activity
Alert Areas
Provides a safe environment for operation of disaster relive aircraft; Protects POTUS, VPOTUS, or other public figures; safe environment for space agency
