Hemoglobin
An iron-based compound that binds with oxygen in the pulmonary capillaries and transports the oxygen to the peripheral tissues.
How is blood viscosity determined?
By the ratio of plasma to formed elements.
Hematocrit
The percentage of blood occupied by erythrocytes.
