Jim Crow Laws- strict segregation laws , blacks kept separate but equal
Ku Klux Klan- racist organisation who wore white gowns to symbolise white purity terrorised black people by lynchings and had over 5 million members by 1925
Impact of Wall Street crash 1929 - black workers were fist to loose jobs 50% unemployed
Impact of new deal - aimed to solve problems 200000 employed by the CCC but we’re still discriminated by alphabet agencies and got lower wages
