  • Set limits and be consistent
  • Remove hazards
  • One-on-one relationships

  • Provide activity to replace non-purposeful activity
  • Promote nutrition to increase caloric intake
    • Supply finger foods (client is too busy to stop and eat)
    • Walk with the client during meals
  • Fluids (client can become dangerously dehydrated)
