1. Energy from the sun makes water evaporate from land and sea turning it into water vapour (transpiation)
2. the warm water vapour is carried upwards. when it gets higher up, it cools and condenses to form clouds
3. water falls from the clouds as precipitation onto land where fresh water provided for animals and plants
4. the water then drains into the sea and whole process starts again

What are the steps of the Carbon Cycle

Answer 4

1. CO2 is removed from atmosphere by plants and algae during photosynthesis which can be used to make carbohydrate, protein and fats which make up the cells of plants and algae
2. Plants and Algae respire so some of the CO2 is released into the atmosphere
3. Animals can eat the plants which can be eaten by other animals so the carbohydrate, fat and protein of the animals cell contains CO2
4. Animals respire so some of the CO2 is released in atmosphere
5. When animals, algae and plants dies, animals and microorganisms feed on their remains
6. When the organism respire, CO2 is released
7. Animals producing waste are broken down by detritus feeder and microorganism
8. Combustion also produces and releasec CO2 into atmosphere
