Q

How does latitude effect climate?

A

At the equator the sun hits earth directly, however the further you you from the equator the less direct the sunlight becomes. This makes is colder as you get further from it, which is how climate is effected.

3
Q

What are the two types of heat circulation in the atmosphere?

A

Wind and ocean currents. Winds carry the heat and lose it as they go, giving heat to the earth. Ocean currents add moisture to the air that passes over them.

Q

Primary Succession

A

On land where no soil exists, or the disturbance removed the soil, example - Volcanic eruption which creates and ecosystem with no soil.
