A

Normal BIM focuses on the initial construction phase of a project which only accounts for 10-20% of the lifetime cost. nD BIM shifts the focus towards facility management which can be more sustainable.

A

6D BIM is 5D BIM + sustainability. It looks at energy estimates and lifecycle analysis that allows teams to make improvements earlier in the design process to consider their impacts. It switches the focus from capital to operational costs.
