1st amendment
Speech, religion, press, assembly, petition.
Ex) single finger actions for each.
2nd amendment
Bear arms.
Ex) finger gun.
3rd amendment
No quartering soldiers.
Ex) three fingers held up with a hole the size of a quarter.
4th amendment
Search and seizure.
Ex) four fingers open and close as if seizing.
5th amendment
1) Due process
2) Eminent domain - can’t take private property and convert it into public use.
3) Grand jury
4) Silent
5) Double jeopardy - can’t be tried for the same thing twice.
Ex) five fingers with each one representing a part.
6th amendment
Speedy trial.
Ex) hand out with 6th finger tapping on watch.
7th amendment
Trial by jury.
Ex) two fingers on one hand represent you and your lawyer, while the other five represent the jury.
8th amendment
No cruel or unusual punishment.
Ex) thumbs are gone.
9th amendment
You have other rights that aren’t explicitly said in the constitution.
Ex) sandwich two hands together with one thumb tucked behind. (even though you can’t see it, it’s still there.)
10th amendment
All other powers and responsibilities go to the states.
Ex) use both hands to push responsibilities over to the states.
