What are the 3 yogas in the Bhagavad Gita
Karma Yoga, Chapters 1-6,
The path of Karma yoga upholds the necessity of action. However, this action is to be undertaken without any attachment to the work or desire for results. Is this to do with tapas/svadhyaya?
Bhakti yoga, Chapters 7-12
Devotion to a god (higher purpose than yourself)On this path the yogi is constantly in touch with God. The primary activity is chanting God’s
name and stories from scriptures, meditating on God, and providing selfless service. It is the thorough discipline of one’s will and mind, a path to intuitive realisation of the supreme through
intense love and affection.
Jnana Yoga, Chapters 13 – 18
