A
- Identifies and assess accurately the general environment as it may affect the operation
- Identifies and manages threats, errors and undesirable aircraft states
- Identifies and assess accurate the state of the aircraft and its systems
- Identifies and assess accurately the aircrafts vertical and lateral position, and its anticipated flight pth
- Keeps track of time and fuel
- Maintains awareness of the people involved in or affected by the operation and their capacity to perform as expected
- ANticipates accurately what could happen, plans and stays ahead of the situation.
- Develops effective contingency plans based upon potential threats
- Identifies and manages threats to the safety of the aircraft and people
- Recognises and responds to indications of reduced SA

(UAS)

If an (external) threat disrupts the normal operations and is not prevented from causing problems by the crew (error) anunsafe aircraft state (UAS) may develop

- Concentration on one task at teh expense of others
- Apparently not hearing RT and/or other communications
- Irritability
- Confusion
