The leader is a person in the group that has an idea about which direction to go in, and possesses the combination fo personality and leadership skills that makes others want to follow their direction

If you understand others feelings, you are less likely to hurt them and gain their cooperation

- Get out of your comfort zone
- Ask for feedback
- Read
- Walk in others shoes
- Know the people around you
- Be honest about your biases
- Be curious
- Ask questions
- Practice ‘Active Listening’

Allocating Tasks
Effective leadership in the way tasks are allocated can help with the ‘buy in’ of other team members.
When allocating tasks, considerations should include
- Priority/Importance
- Skill sets
- Availability
- Personal Development
- Personal Interest
If yo match the tasks and individuals logically using the above criteria, you are more likely to get acceptance

Conflicts cannot be resolved satisfactorily without talking

Compromise
The best resolutions tend to be ‘win-win’ or collaborations. It is most unliekly that satisfactory solutions will be arrived at without each party giving a little ground
