- cyclic
- planar with sp2 hibridised compounds (bound to 3 atoms)
- double bonds must be able to delocalise

Not really they are too stable

Describe the substitution reaction of benzene with chlorine
A
Benzene + chlorine in the presence of AlCl3 —-> 1, 3 dicholorobenzene and hydrogen or chlorobenzene and hydrogen chloride
