Moderate iron deficiency anaemia
High reticulocyte count

What is a tubular adenoma
a benign tumour of colonic mucosa; grows out into bowel lumen as a polypoid protrusion with a stalk of normal mucosa
Management of if a benign tumour of the colon is found
Regular faecal examination for occult blood. Check colonoscopies (eg every 2 days), and earlier if occult blood is found
