A
Bilateral leg pain confined to gastrocnemius and soleus muscles - sudden inability to weight bear and/or walk resulting in tiptoeing or stiff- legged gait

Cause of BACM
A
Viral illnesses - influenza A and B are the most often implicated

Complication of BACM
A
Rhabdomyolysis with ARF

A
GB syndrome, transient synovitis, osteomyelitis/septic arthritis, DVT, juvenile idiopathic arthritis
