Core strength and core training. supports your spine. It supports all sorts of joints and things.
How does flexibility help us?

Stretching combined with warming up before physical activity is always a good idea.
Asthma
- they should still participate in cardiovascular exercise, BUT should be allowed to move at a comfortable pace.
- should have quick and easy access to an inhaler
- should limit exercise in extreme temperatures when air pollution levels are high (could trigger)
If a child has Asthma or diabetes or some other health condition…
you should be able to adapt the program to help that student.
Diabetes
- be allowed to participate in all forms of physical activity, but should have easy access to diabetes supplies, should have juice or snacks available to treat low blood sugar, and should have free access to water and restrooms. (By drinking more fluids, they can process sugar more readily)
- Type 1 Diabetes, the body does not produce insulin. (Needs injections possibly)
- Type 2 Diabetes, often associated with obesity, occurs when insulin is inefficient at moving sugars out of the bloodstream.
