What is an ethogram?
A
An ethogram is a table that displays a list of possible behaviours an animal might exhibit that’s unique to a species
Its an accurate method of collecting data on animal behaviour

What are the three sampling methods?
A
Focal – one animal or unit
Behaviour – one behaviour
Scan – all behaviours all animals

What are the four recording methods?
A
Ad libitum – all behaviours as they occur
Continuous – each behaviour and duration
Instantaneous – behaviour at regular intervals
One-Zero – presence/absence at regular intervals
