2 demographic factors that correlated with compliance were marital status and education.
1 finding found to conflict with HBM was mothers who were compliant report less faith in their medical practitioners
What was concluded from the study.
The HBM is a useful model to predict and explain different levels of compliance with medical regimes
What is the aim?
To use the HBM to explain mothers adherence to a drug regime for their asthmatic children
