  • Both groups of girls completed the eat 26 survey which investigates binging and purging.
  • Answered questions on household ownership of tv and weight and height were measured
    1998-questions on body image and dieting.
    -Questions to identify disparities between them and their parents relating to diet and body image.
  • 30 girls who reported binging and purging were given a semi-structured interview
