look for chest movement, listen for breaths and feel for breaths on cheek for 10 secs if the patient is breath normally check circulation and breathing
cpr 1-
assess for danger, stimulate and responsive (are you okay x2) - then call for help
cpr 2-
open airway: head tilt chin lift
cpr 3-
check for breathing look, listen and feel, no breathing 2 rescue breaths (pocket mask- open airway with jaw thrust or chin lift head tilt) and begin 30 compressions while second crew gets aed
cpr 4-
continue cpr and and apply pads (upper right and left under crease of breast) switch it on before after applying the pads it will analyse the heart begin shock (do not touch and move oxygen) “stand back shocking now”
cpr 5-
begin next round of compression and apply oxygen (using pocket mask attach the oxygen tube to it) bottle and do rescue breaths (this allows the oxygen to be pushed into the lungs) remove it when giving shocks
