both are about developmental psychology about the ways in which external influences can influence behaviour however bandura looked at how children imitate aggressive behaviour they observed whereas chaney looked at how children will increase desirable behaviour eg. medical compliance when postiively reinforced

bandura was a lab experiment whereas chaney was a field experiment

bandura drew their ppts from a local nursery wehreas chaney used random sampling to recurit children and their families through local gp clinics

both studies collected quantitative data. in bandura it consited of the observers recordings of the 3 types of aggression in the chidren and in chaney it was the compliance rates which allowed direct comparison in both
