Streptococcus pygenes
What does streptococcus pneumoniae cause?
secondary bacterial pneumonia
What does streptococcus pyogenes do?
causes strep throat and rheumatic fever
What is a strand of staphylococci?
Staphylococcus aureus
What does Staphylococcus aureus do?
Involved in food poisoning, toxic shock syndrome, pneumonia, and staphylococcal meningitis
