how can we prevent the spread of salmonella?
-vaccinating animals intended for consumption
-keep raw meat away from cooked meat
-disinfect hands and surfaces after contact with raw meat
-thoroughly cook meat
symptoms of gonorrhoea
pain when urinating, thick green/yellow discharge from penis or vagina
how is gonorrhoea spread?
through sexual contact (unprotected)
what is gonorrhoea?
an STD
how can we prevent the spread of gonorrhoea?
-antibiotics
-use of condoms or other barrier contraception
why is it tricky to treat gonorrhoea with penicillin?
strains of gonorrhoea have become resistant to it
