Children: whooping cough (cough on expiration, whoop on inspiration), adults: 100 day cough
Clostridium Tetani
Muscle rigidity, trismus, risus sardonicus
Clostridium botulinum
Diplopia, dysphagia, dysphonia, flaccid paralysis (floppy baby)
Clostridium perfringens
Myonerosis (gas gangrene), hemolysis, late-onset watery diarrhea
Mycobacterium leprae
Leprosy: lepromatous (diffuse lesions over skin, communicable, humoral Th2 response, low cell-mediated immunity) OR tuberculoid (limited hypoesthetic skin-plaques, high cell-mediated immunity, Th1)
