SAB Tx Duration

A
  • Uncomplicated: 14 days
  • Complicated: 4 weeks
  • Complicated w/ Metastatic infxn: 6-8 weeks
    IV Tx Duration starts from FIRST NEGATIVE blood culture
    NEVER PO Tx

  • then, high dose Amoxicillin PO
