Difference between discourse and framing ?
Discourse= broader, how people talk, think , understand as something in society
Framing= more specific; how the particular problem is presented,how a particular issue is shaped or presented within that discourse.
A good analogy to explain the differences between discourse and framing?
Think of discourse as a forest and framing as a specific path you take through that forest. The forest represents all the possible ideas and ways of understanding a topic, while the path highlights certain parts and ignores others.
