144,000 LB
Max Zero-Fuel Weight
136,000 LB
Max Weights subject to
w/b & loading concerns
Flaps Up G-loading
+2.5 to -1.0
Flaps Down G-loading
0 = G = 2.0
Runway slope
+/- 2%
Max Tailwind Component
10 kts, in spite of demonstrated 15 knot capability
Max Ops Altitude
FL 410
Max RWY Altitude
8,400 PRESSURE ALT. (8k for CAL?)
Pressure Altitudes below -2k ft, use ___. numbers
-2k ft perf
Max Flight LAT-itudes
82 N, to 82 S. Except:
1995 or 2005 Var. tables: 70 N for 80w - 130w (above Can)
60 S for 120e- 160e (below Aus)
- on opposite sides of mag north
for 2015 mag tables, 80 N and 72 S, same regions of long.
Holding in ice conditions, regards to flaps
flaps prohibited.
Max Fuel tank 1 or 2
1288 US gal. or 9,144 lbs or 4,147 kgs.
Center Tank
4,299 US gal. 30,522 lbs., or 13,843 kg.
Fuel tank loading sequence
any, but wing tanks should eventually be even.
If Center tank > 1,000 lbs,
Wing tanks must be full.
Max random Fuel Imbalance for taxi, t/o, landing? (the mains must be scheduled to even)
1,000 lbs.
If empty in center tank, how to feed engine?
Main tank - to - engine, w/ all operable main tank boosts on, and cross-feed valve closed.
With fuel in center tank, how to feed engine?
use center tank fuel with all operable pumps on, cross-feed closed* until center tank fuel is depleted, or at least less than 1k lbs. Then carry on as main tank feeding. *IF need to correct imbalance or under minimum fuel ops, can open cross-feed.
Center tank pumps on…
1) must be monitored for low prx lights
2) NOT on ground, UNLESS center tank quantity > 1k lbs,
except defuel/trxfer ops
3) off for t/o if center tank fuel 1k lbs.
8) CONFIG indicator goes when center pumps off and fuel >1600lbs. do NOT do QRH for this if
How can we exceed max ZFW
t/o, climb, and cruise, by 5k (ZFW + Center tank fuel), and 3k for descent and landing.
Center tank fuel pump fails w/ fuel in tank…
accomplish Fuel Pump Low abnormal procedure.
Defueling considerations (2)
- With pax onboard is prohibited
2. pumps off at first indication of low fuel
