What is a communicable disease?
A disease caused by a pathogen that can be spread
What is a non communicable disease?
A disease not caused by a pathogen (cannot be spread) e.g. cancer

Red skin rash Fever Cold Diarrhoea Tiredness These symptoms are from the pathogen releasing toxins or making cell damaged to the body.

What are some infection routes
Droplets breathed in

What is the specific immune system made up of
Phagocytes that are a type of WBC that engulf and digest bacteria
Inflammatory response
Lymphocytes that create specific antibodies that attach on the pathogens antigen and kill the pathogen
