What is Measles?
-Measles is a virus that hijacks thr host’s cell to reproduce the disease
-Common colds, coughing, sneazing, and runny nose are the common symptoms
-Rashes may appear but can clog up to form bloody patches causing possible blindness and brain damage
How can you catch it?
-It spreads through sneezes and coughs which can be very infectious
How can you treat it?
There is no treatment but to prevent it is through getting a vaccine
What is Salmonella?
-An infection common bacterial disease which typically lives in animals and human intestine
-Humans become infected more frequently though fontaminated water or food
How is it spreaded?
-Can be spreaded by an infected person who is ill
-Either a carrier whith contaminate foodstuff by poor hand hygine
-Contact with infected animal both farm and domestic
What are the symptoms?
-Abdominal tummy pains
-Fevers
-Headaches
-Nausea and vomiting
-General tiredness
How to prevent it?
-By washing carfully and throroughly by washing your hands and preparing your food safetly
What is HIV?
-It is a virus that slowly attacks the immune system
-The system cannot fight off the infection which develops AIDS
How can it spread?
-HIV is transmitted from a mother to her baby during pregnancy
-Through sex, or sharing needles, syringes or other drug injection
How to prevent it?
-Powerful tools can help prevent HIV
What is Gonorrhoea?
-An sti which is a bactieria call neisseria gonorrhoeae or gonococcus
-Used to be know as the ‘clap’
What are the symptoms?
-Vaginal or genital strange discharge
-Pain or burning sensation when passing urine
-Pain or tenderness in lower abdominal area
How can we prevent it?
-Usually treated with antibiotics
-Having a antibiotic injection in the nuttocls or thigh area
-Can use a tablet
What is Tobacco mosaic?
-A virus plant pathogen
What are the symptoms?
-Yellow spotting on leaves
-Distinct yellowing of only veins
