what causes infectious disease
Infectious diseases are caused by pathogenic microorganisms, such as bacteria, viruses, parasites or fungi
how do pathogens make you ill
Sometimes bacteria multiply so rapidly they crowd out host tissues and disrupt normal function.

by air, by direct contact and through water
describe the main differences between bacteria and viruses and how they cause disease
bacteria are free-living cells that can live inside or outside a body, while viruses are a non-living collection of molecules that need a host to survive

hand washing, using disinfectants, keeping raw meat from cooked meat, cough/sneeze into a tissue
what are the main symptoms of measles
fever and red skin rash

describe the link between HIV and AIDS
AIDS is the late stage of HIV infection that occurs when the body’s immune system is badly damaged because of the virus
why is untreated HIV usually fatal
if it is untreated it will turn into AIDS which is fatal
