A

by being bitten by an infective female Anopheles mosquito

20
Q

how can these actions prevent the spread of disease. washing hands before prepping food, throwing away used tissues

A

washing hands gets rid of all of the bacteria before you touch the food.
if used tissues are left around the bacteria on them can spread to the surrounding surfaces.

21
Q

explain why these symptoms of diseases increase risk of infection. blood not clot properly, white blood cell count falls.

A

clotting i what closes your wounds so they don’t get infected.
if your white blood cell count falls it means it will take longer to treat bacteria which gives more time for it to become infected.
