To get energy

It get converted into cellulose to make strong cell walls

Amino acids can be made into proteins
How is glucose made into amino acids?
Combined with nitrate ions
Why might a plant store glucose as oils or fats?
To be stored in seeds
Why might a plant store glucose as starch?
It can be stored elsewhere for times of deficit, and starch is better for storing as it is insoluble
