i) Benedict’s solution
There would be no changes in colour because sucrose and starch in wheat flour are not glucose (reducing sugar).

ii) Iodine solution
The solution would turn BLUE-BLACK because of the starch in the flour.

Crush the walnut using a mortar and pestle then
mix part with ETHANOL,
decant the liquid and add water,
if the mixture turn cloudy, then fat is present.

Crush the walnut using a mortar and pestle then
Mix part with water to form a solution,
Add a few drop of BIURET solution,
If protein present, a blue ring forms at the surface, which disappears to form a purple solution.
