Produce substances such as enzymes and hormones

Covers some parts of the body
What are organs?
They are made up of tissues. One organ may contain several tissues. An example of an organ is the stomach

Churn the contents

Produce digestive juices

Covers the outside and the inside of the stomach

Groups of organs that perform a particular function. An example of this is the digestive system
