Briefing Passengers on Flight Information
What information should be disseminated to passengers regularly?
Estimated time of departure, estimated time of arrival, roll-call times, and information regarding aircraft delays
What five types of briefs are there?
General information, unique mission briefing, limited support location, delayed flight briefing, and terminal amenities
What are examples of general briefs?
Documentation required for Space-R/A, AMC rules and regulations, in-flight meals info, tobacco use, and carry-on restrictions
What are examples of unique mission briefs?
Low-level training, air refueling, unpressurized aircraft, in-cabin weapons, hazardous or dangerous cargo, human remains, prisoners with armed guard escorts, et cetera
What are examples of limited support locations?
Locations with little support for passengers such as no terminal, limited transportation, et cetera
How often will delayed flight information be briefed?
Every 20 minutes unless the delay is ≥six hours, then every two hours
What are examples of terminal amenities?
Dependent/Passenger/Special Catagory lounges, cafeteria, or USO
Where could prewritten terminal announcements be found?
AFI 24-605 Volume 2, Attachment 2
What should be done during an announcement?
Start with a salutation to get attention, speak slowly & clearly, do not hurry, do not memorize

How often will the AMC Form 76 be updated?
Annually or when significant changes occur
