Which organs are those that help with homeostasis, and what do they do?
A
Brain - controls temperature, water and CO2 levels Muscles - increase body temperature Skin - regulates body temperature Lungs - remove CO2 Pancreas - regulate blood sugar levels Kidneys - regulate water/mineral levels

What is vasodilation?
A
The capillary dilates and becomes wider, allowing the blood to flow nearer the skin and therefore cooling down the body.

What does insulin do?
A
It is carried to the liver, where it causes the liver to take glucose out of the blood and store it as glycogen in the liver.

A
A disease caused by when the body cannot control blood sugar levels.
