Pancreas releases insulin
(Which is broken down in respiration to make energy)
Liver removes glucose and stores it as Glycogen
Blood sugar level is normal
What do both type 1 and type 2 glucose have in common ?
Suffered cannot regulate their blood glucose levels
What are some symptoms of diabetes ?
Tiredness
High blood glucose levels
Very high or low insulin levels depends on type

Risk factor: genetic
Cause: no insulin is produced
Treatments: insulin injections and pancreas transplant

Risk factor: lifestyle
Cause: cells do not respond to insulin
Treatments: low carb diet and exercise
