Axillary lymph nodes are located where
Fibrofatty tissue of axilla
It is divided into
5 groups

Anterior or pectoral group
Posterior or scapular group
Lateral group

Apical or infraclavicular group
Ant group lies where
Along lat thoracic vessels
Post group lies where
Along subscapular vessels in post fold of axilla
Lat group lies where
Along upper part of humerus medial to axillary vein
Central group lies where
Fat in upper axilla
Apical group lies where
Deep to clavipectoral fascia along axillary vessels
Ant group receives lymph from
Ant wall of upper half of trunk and major part of breast
Post group receives lymph from
Post wall of upper half of trunk and from axillary tail of breast
Lat group receives lymph from
Upper limb
Central group receives lymph from
Preceding groups and drain into apical group
Apical group receives lymph from
Central group, upper part of breast and from thumb and it’s web.
Intercostobrachial nerve is closely related to
Central group lymph nodes
What rami forms plexuses
Ventral primary rami
